I was cleaning out some luggage bags I had in the closet when I found one of my external hard drives I thought I had lost. On the drive was a set of pictures I took and never had a chance to edit, so bored at 3:00am I decided to do something a little different than usual.
For all the years I’ve ever been a photographer, I’ve never really had an assistant for photo shoots. I just show up and get it done all on my own, unless it was a really big job and I’d bring a friend. This past year I’ve been having my friend Adriana tag along with me on shoots to help me out. So this past week she asked if I’d do a shoot for her and I couldn’t say no. We mostly just drove around to random places and took a few shots before the sun went down.
So a few weeks ago I got an email asking if I was interested in going to Nocturnal Wonderland this year. After a few exchanges of email, I was hired to cover the event as the official photographer. So Friday Morning I drove 6 hours up to Rockdale and started shooting. I can’t believe how much fun I had running from stage to stage and seeing some friends that I rarely get to see. It really was two days of being in a Nocturnal Wonderland.
For the past few weekends I’ve just been so busy with shooting weddings for friends or spending time with the family that I haven’t been able to just go out and do something fun. This weekend Taylor invited me over to hang out with her since she’s been busy doing shoots with other photographers. It was long before I took my camera out and just started taking pictures of her just being herself.

I never forget to have my camera around when I’m hanging out with Taylor. I have a ton of other pictures from today that I need to send her.
